MMA Entertainment Inc. (MMAE) a California corporation based in San Jose announced today the signing of a Producers Service Agreement with Epic Entertainment Inc. (Epic) a California corporation with the exclusive rights to promote MMA at the Robobank Arena in Bakersfield California.
The Producers agreement included brand consulting, limited license of the Frank Shamrock image, footage from the Shamrock MMA library, and commentary services by the Legendary MMA champion to launch the “Beat Down in Bakersfield” events series, by Epic Entertainment Inc.
Frank Shamrock, CEO of MMAE stated, “Bringing MMA to new markets with excited successful partners like Epic Entertainment is what MMAE is all about and we look forward to showing the community of Bakersfield MMA the Shamrock Way.
Donnie Bender co-promoter for Epic and former manager to UFC competitor Vitor Belfort, went on to praise Shamrock and MMAE saying, “I know what a tough business MMA is to make money and when we wanted in the game, we went the best proven brand and man in the business, that’s Frank Shamrock.”
Frank Shamrock is an MMA color commentator on CBS, Showtime, and ESPN2 and is internationally known as one of the world’s top martial arts instructors and trainers. Shamrock, also an accomplished author, wrote the popular book “Mixed Martial Arts for Dummies.” and stars in the EA Sports MMA video game as a fighter and commentator.
